Today by the grace of God our church here in Ciudad Vieja is growing fast with over 500 converts, and, we believe that God will continue to use us here. We are believing that this current church will grow tremendously and revival will break out in this town. Now that is quite some statement to make publicly, but when God speaks we can only but obey Him. We both continue to teach, preach and evangelize, and hopefully this year Jeff will be visiting many of the families. But we know that it is only through your prayers and intercession that keeps us going and allows God’s vision to be fulfilled.

The Calling
Many of you know that I, Jeff, have suffered these past 6 years with a number of back operations; the last one being in January this year. I have, of course, in my weakness, sought the Lord as to “Why me?” I have found out that the price is high when one gives his or her life to serve the Lord full time, and, our complete dependence on Him is essential and can only truly be known and realized when we are absolutely weak and empty of all self. My suffering has brought me to the Cross which I embrace. There came a day when I could not take any more, when the pain was so much, that I cried out to the Only One who could help. I was completely broken! It was then that I saw Jesus on the Cross. Since that day I am continually getting better.
I have a new understanding of compassion and love for the sick that are also suffering and need the healing power of Jesus Christ. These lost people need to know the Lamb of God, and why some suffer and others don’t. It is ONLY by going to the Cross will one fully understand. Again, it is only through YOUR prayers and intercession that our vision can be achieved.
Crossing the line
In these end times Satan is making an all-out onslaught to wreck the plans of God, but if we Christians are willing to cross the line, we are going to see a great revival. So, with this Newsletter we want to encourage every Christian to cross over the line and begin to share Jesus Christ as if there is no tomorrow. In any battle there are injuries; but that will only bring you to the Cross to fully understand what Jesus done for you! So grab your weapons (Bibles) and let’s go!
“Noah’s Ark” Project
In Matthew 6:19-21, Jesus said: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; for where your treasure is, there is your heart also.”
In the financial world, people have lost as much as 50% to 80% of their assets in stocks and shares, and more tough times are ahead. What if another 30% to 50% vanishes? Would it not be better to invest current wealth in the Kingdom of God now, where it is safe and secure? Where exactly do we have our hearts?”
After much prayer the land to the right of our church has become available. We are desperately in need of a building for the children of the church which now number over 150. We are cramming as many as 40 children into a class built for 10 and it is becoming increasingly difficult to the teachers to control them. The owner of this land has brought his price down from Euro 30,800 ($39,000) to just Euro 15,000 ($18,900). We know it took Noah many years to build his Ark and we hope it doesn’t take as long! As a matter of fact we will get our own members to construct the building just as Noah’s family built the Ark! We believe God for these funds so that the children can have their own building called Noah’s Ark.
